Safeguard Aquasol (Fenbendazole) is the only FDA-approved treatment for worms in poultry. Don't mistake this for the Safeguard Goat Dewormer you can buy at the feed store. Unlike the regular goat dewormer, Safeguard Aquasol is water soluble so will not precipitate out of solution. You can mix Aquasol into the drinking water and treat the entire flock at the same time without having to dose each individual bird. Aquasol is effective against many types of worms including roundworms, tapeworms, capillary worms, gapeworms, cecal worms, and flukes. It is very safe and there is no egg withdrawal period! A 10mL container which can treat up to 150 birds (880 total lbs of chickens) for 5 days!
