We are located in fresno county, CAlifornia.
We raise standard sized, pure-bred Australian Shepherds. We do NOT breed toy Aussies or Miniature American Shepherds. Although we occasionally will have a puppy small enough to be considered a "mini Aussie", we do not breed for the smaller size. We are a small hobby breeder and only raise one to two litters per year. All of our dogs are first and foremost, members of our family and we treat them as such. We breed some of the world's rarest and most interesting chicken breeds along with classic layers including the all-black Ayam Cemani and the Hmong Blue-Skinned Chicken. Want a show piece for your chicken yard? Take home one of our Indio Gigantes, the tallest chicken breed in the world, or the Liege Fighter AKA "The hawk killer". We raise a varied selection of imported and domestic breeds that will be sure to fill your egg basket up with all the colors of the rainbow. Choose the right breeder
We always tell our prospective puppy owners to choose the breeder that is right for them, even if it is not us. Everyone has different wants and needs in a dog. Make sure you pick a breed of dog that best fits your lifestyle and a breeder whose methods and philosophy aligns with your own. A good breeder will not sell their puppies to just anyone. He/she will want the puppies to go to good homes that are the right fit for the breed he/she raises. Here at Ellison Family Australian Shepherds, we believe that we are the guardians of this breed and we help to match each puppy's unique personality with a suitable parent.
